PP labels can be divided into many types, such as PP synthetic paper, transparent BOPP, silver BOPP, matte BOPP, PP pearlescent film, laser film, etc. These are all BOPP labels, also known as PP labels. Let’s learn about them below.
1. PP Synthetic Paper
Features: Water, oil, and chemical resistance are important for product label applications.
Usage: Used for high-end products, environmental product information labels.
2. Transparent, Silver BOPP
This is a coated, biaxially oriented BOPP self-adhesive material with excellent die-cutting, waste stripping, and UV resistance properties. It has good re-stickability.
Usage: Watermarks, cosmetics, daily chemical products, dry/wet wipes labels, etc.
3. Matte BOPP
A high-fog and low-gloss polypropylene film with a diffuse reflection matte effect. In the plastic soft packaging process, a layer of matte film is laminated to one side of the packaging material, which can eliminate film surface reflection.
Features:
- Low gloss, good hand feel;
- Matte side, non-corona side or semi-corona side;
- white spots, suitable for dark background lamination;
- The matte side can be used for general hot stamping, and is also suitable for UV coating and silk screen printing.
Product Applications:
Generally used for printing self-adhesive商标protection that requires matte treatment, with special matte effect, widely used in the self-adhesive printing industry, label industry, trademark industry, etc.
4. PP Pearlescent Film
PP pearlescent film is actually BOPP film (biaxially oriented polypropylene film), which is made of polypropylene resin as raw material, mixed with calcium carbonate and pearlescent pigments, and then biaxially stretched. The properties are similar to ordinary BOPP.
The main advantage of PP pearlescent film is that the surface has a pearly luster high-end appearance, so it is often used for high-end daily chemical (such as cosmetics) labels, mineral water labels, etc.
5. Laser Film
Multi-color product label general label paper, suitable for high-end information labels of cultural and stationery, and decorations.
