The back of the aluminized self-adhesive label material is coated with a layer of adhesive that is not easy to dry, and the front is made of a layer of aluminum film with a metallic color and paper or film through a special process. The aluminum foil self-adhesive label material is a pure aluminum foil structure, without paper or film as a supporting substrate. After pasting, it is not easily affected by the ambient temperature and humidity, and the label can remain non-warping and non-deformed for a long time.
The colors on the front of the above self-adhesive label materials are most commonly light gold and light silver, as well as sub-gold and sub-silver. The former has a high-gloss glare effect, while the latter has a softer gloss. In addition to gold and silver colors, this type of self-adhesive label material has other colors, such as green, blue, rose, etc.
The base materials of aluminized self-adhesive face paper are of various types, including waterproof coated paper, as well as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), electrostatic polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyester (PET), polypropylene (PP), polycarbonate (PC) and other sheet or film materials. Some aluminum-plated self-adhesive surface materials also have a thin layer of aluminum film sprayed on the back, which looks like a pure aluminum foil. Its stiffness and flatness are also very good. Because the back has a metallic texture, it is particularly suitable for pasting on transparent products, and the quality grade is also higher.
According to the different characteristics of the labeling object, the viscosity characteristics of the adhesive used in the self-adhesive label material will also be different. Generally, the back-coated adhesive can be divided into general strong adhesive type, general super adhesive type, refrigerated strong adhesive type, fiber re-peel type and general re-peel type. High-viscosity self-adhesive label materials are generally back-coated with hot melt adhesive, while the viscosity of self-adhesive label materials with water-based adhesive back-coated is relatively low.
However, no matter what performance adhesive is coated on the back of the self-adhesive label material, it is necessary to keep the surface of the base paper (backing paper) and the back of the face paper moderately adhered, and to ensure that after the face paper and the base paper are separated, the self-adhesive layer can maintain reliable adhesion with the adhesive.
